    Test: WordPress Web Developer

    Test Job Only

Target Audience: Experienced WordPress developers comfortable working across multiple client websites, themes, and plugins — with an eye for clean code and performance.

    Work Type: Remote | Project-Based or Part-Time | Potential for Long-Term Work

We’re looking for a WordPress Web Developer who can confidently take on website builds, site maintenance, plugin integrations, and light troubleshooting across multiple sites.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple sites at once, and know how to navigate between visual builders (like Elementor or WPBakery) and custom-coded themes. Bonus if you’ve worked with automation tools or CRM integrations before.

    Your Main Objective

Support the OperationsX team and our clients by:

    • Building and maintaining responsive, fast-loading WordPress websites

    • Making content updates and UI tweaks in visual builders and/or code

    • Troubleshooting plugin conflicts, layout bugs, and speed issues

    • Helping connect WordPress sites with forms, CRMs, or automation tools

    • Ensuring mobile optimisation and clean, well-documented code

    Responsibilities

    • Build new pages and sections using Elementor, WPBakery, or custom themes

    • Implement plugin-based features (e.g., booking forms, CRMs, LMSs)

    • Manage updates and backups

    • Troubleshoot performance, layout, or plugin issues

    • Collaborate with designers and operations team to bring site updates to life

    • Optimise websites for mobile, SEO, and speed (Core Web Vitals knowledge is a plus)

    You Are…

    • Experienced in WordPress, both frontend and light backend

    • Comfortable with HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP (you don’t need to be a full-stack dev)

    • Familiar with visual builders like Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.

    • Able to implement solutions quickly, cleanly, and without bloated plugins

    • Tech-savvy and curious — you know how to debug issues and test solutions

    • Reliable, responsive, and focused on delivering high-quality work

    Bonus If You Have…

    • Experience integrating WordPress with CRMs (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot) or automation tools (Zapier, Integromat)

    • Knowledge of LMS plugins (LearnDash, TutorLMS, etc.)

    • Familiarity with SEO basics, caching, and performance optimisation tools

    • Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones

    Compensation

    • Paid per project or on a part-time/monthly retainer (depending on experience)

    • Opportunities for performance bonuses or recurring work

    • Potential to grow into a long-term technical lead or systems integrator role
